EMERGE Intra-Alliance Staff Week

Welcome to the Hybrid Intra-Alliance Staff Week of 2026! This event is organised by INN from 5 to 9 October and invites several of the EMERGE work groups to meet and collaborate. Find programme details and practical information on this page.

Do you need bus transportation to Oslo airport?

Due to the national train strike in Norway and several cancelled departures to Oslo airport, we have organised bus transportation from Lillehammer and Hamar on Friday morning, 9 October. The bus will leave from Lillehammer skysstasjon at 07:00, and from Hamar at the INN campus at 07:45. You will be at Oslo airport around 09:00.

Please, only register if your initial train was cancelled and you need this transportation to make your flight. This also affects the Friday programme, which now will only be digital.

Groups included: Governing Board (GB), Alliance Management Team (AMT), Quality Assurance Team (QAT), Joint Degree Task Force (JDTF), ICT Task Force (ICT), Communications Officers (CO), Student Advisory Board (SAB), Strategic Planning Unit (SPU) and Administration Leadership Committee (ALC).

We will also be joined by EMERGE Secretary General Lesley Lelourec and our European Commission Project Officer.

Additionally, some of the work packages are organising separate events simultaneously at INN and will join the rest of the Staff Week for joint activities. This includes a research BIP related to WP6 and a staff week for WP8.

The easiest way to reach Oslo Airport (OSL) from Lillehammer and Hamar is by the RE10 train or the Vy buses. If you are travelling from Elverum, you need to go to Hamar by bus or train first.

To get to campus (INN Storhove) from Lillehammer city centre, it is best to take the B4 and B2 buses to "Universitetet i Innlandet - Storhove" from the nearest stop by your hotel. Check the bus routes on Entur.

The Staff Week programme includes joint activities, separate work sessions, collaborative group work, cultural programmes, social activities and an excursion to Evenstad – our smallest but most international campus.

We will organise the programme at four of INN's six campuses throughout the week, so please check the programme and attending groups descriptions carefully to learn where your relevant events are located.
