I joined the team at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences in 2021. I hold a BSc Hons degree in Tourism Management from the University of Surrey (UK) and MSc in Business Administration with the specialization in Innovation from the University of Stavanger (Norway). I have a background in music and extensive experience in events/ project management and EU funding. My main areas of interest lie within the field of regional and business development, sustainability, policy and planning, and innovation – an important driver of regional growth.
Throughout my studies I have carried out assignments related to policymaking and regional development. My master thesis was carried out as a part of an international research project “Regional Growth against all Odds”, coordinated by the Lund University, the goal of which is to understand why certain regions innovate and grow more than others and inform more effective regional policies.
In my PhD I am willing to further study processes of innovation in regional development, how regions develop new growth paths and factors that promote this process.
