Home examinations and hand-in-exams
As a general rule, examinations are conducted using Inspera Assessment.
There is great variation in the form of a home examination at INN. For example, it could be a 6-hour home exam with an exam paper that is answered directly in Inspera, or a bachelor's thesis submission where no exam paper is given and you upload your exam answer as a PDF file in Inspera within a given deadline. As a student, it is important that you pay close attention to information about the exam that is provided in Studentweb, Inspera, Canvas and the individual subject description.
Inspera
The home examination may contain tasks where you as a student answer directly in Inspera and/or as file uploads. If an exam task is given, this will be available in Inspera at the start of the exam.
Remember that the Safe Exam Browser (which is common on digital school exams) is not used at a home examination. You will thus have access to normal functions on your computer during a home examination.
Access to your submitted exam
After the exam is finished, your exam answer will normally be available under "Previous exams" in Inspera after you have handed in the exam. However it may vary when it becomes available. For a few exams, submitted exams will not be available, for example in the case of multiple-choice tasks that are to be used again.
The university recommends that you download and save your submitted exam outside of Inspera, since you will lose access to Inspera after completing your studies.
