Short description

Department of Organisation and Shared Services was established on the 1st of August 2025, and consists of the HR Department, the Property Department, the IT Department, the Communications Department, and the Section for Documentation and Information Management. The Department is lead by the Director of Organisation.

The Director of Organisation has been given responsibility and authority to coordinate the overall administrative activities – both between the administrative professional lines and in relation to the faculties. Furthermore, the Director of Organisation shares responsibility for the overall governance of the University’s activities and resources.

The Program for Digitalisation and Portfolio Management is placed within the department. The department thus has a special responsibility for follow-up and goal attainment within the area of technology.

University of Inland Norway is a member of the University Alliance EMERGE, and the Director of Organisation is the owner of the project.

University of Inland Norway also holds the chair of the board in SANORD, and the Director of Organisation holds this role
