Marit Torgersen

Short description

Marit works on tasks and projects for the institutional leadership, with a particular focus on further developing the working environment and organizational culture, coordinating campuses, and on civil protection and emergency preparedness.

She holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems. Marit worked for nine years as Director of Shared Services in the Eidsiva Group, and has 18 years of experience from Norges Bank, where she worked with digitalization in various management positions. She has board experience from, among others, KLP and Fornybar Norge. She has served as Director of Digitalization and Infrastructure at INN.

Marit chairs both the central crisis management group and the local crisis group in Lillehammer. She is a member of INN’s portfolio board for digitalization and facilitates its work. 

She is responsible for art at INN, chairs the Art Committee, and takes an active part in the sector’s network forum for art management. She has been a driving force in preserving and digitizing the impressive Olympic Games collection, which consists of both national and major international contemporary art. Artists in the collection are represented in museums such as the Museum of Modern Art, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Guggenheim and The Met, and in Norway at Astrup Fearnley, Kunstsilo and the National Museum. She is a board member representing INN in the Student Welfare Organization in Innlandet.
