STAS 65+

Together for a Safe, Active and Independent Everyday Life in Elverum

The STAS 65+ project was developed in response to societal changes, where a growing proportion of older adults seek greater independence and a healthier, more active ageing process. Through co-creation with older adults and local stakeholders, the project aims to develop an initiative that combines physical activity and social participation.

The research project applies the framework for complex interventions to evaluate both the effectiveness and the feasibility of a locally anchored, volunteer-based, low-threshold physical activity programme.
