Short description
I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Inland Norway. Alongside my doctoral work, I serve as the administrator for the European Network SPRinG and I am an active member of the OASIS Research Group. Additionally, I hold postgraduate membership in both the European Association of Social Psychology (EASP) and the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP).
My research focuses on gender (in)equality, from its expression in close relationships to how it is measured across cultures. Through my research, I explore how gender equality can be defined and measured in a more comprehensive and culturally sensitive way. I also study partner preferences and how different forms of sexual objectification—self-, other-, and partner-objectification—affect women’s sexual well-being.
