The spring Student Parliament meeting was a diverse gathering with several different topics and, not least, discussions. We reviewed revisions of already existing documents and added new chapters to other documents. StInn's new principle program was also up for discussion. The principle program is intended to be a collection of overarching principles that StInn can rely on, reducing the chances of encountering situations where we lack policies in specific areas. The Student Parliament decided during this meeting that the principle program should continue to be developed. The general debate also brought up important questions, including the inclusion of para-sports, how budget cuts affected smaller campuses versus larger ones, and, not least, students' mental health.
At the Student Parliament, there are delegates from all campuses, and it's very important that we don't just sit in meetings but also ensure that we are social and have fun together. In addition to all the informal discussions across campuses, such as what is the optimal time for a power nap. On Saturday evening, the Student Parliament gathered for a formal dinner, followed by a quiz excellently hosted by our dear president, Marthe. Did you know that Pong is the first game to achieve commercial success??
Both new and familiar faces will lead the organization forward.
It is The Student Parliament that decides who will lead our organization forward, and the entire Sunday was dedicated to elections. Leon Beck and Sofie Hov Jensen were re-elected as Leader and Deputy Leader of the Presidium. The rest of the Presidium consists of the leaders of the Local Executive Committees, who will be elected locally throughout the spring.

There were several changes in the Executive Committee. Sander Sjøblom takes over as the Leader of the committee, while the Deputy Leader position remains vacant. Joachim Johannessen steps in as Academics and Research Policy Officer, and Mari Kristoffersen takes over as Welfare and Learning Environment Policy Officer. Julie Engen Heier is new to the organization and becomes our new International Policy Officer. The only remaining member from the Executive Committee is Mari Hageberget Akersveen, who continues as Communications Officer. Sander and Mari K. have served as delegates in The Student Parliament this term, while Joachim and Julie have both been leaders in Hamar, respectively in the Local Executive Committee and the Student Society.
