The role as Education and Research Policy Officer in the Inland Norway Student's Union is a unique opportunity for you if you wish to influence the study and research environment at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. This role lets you work on advocating for students when it comes to study quality and research policies, while also meeting people from all six campuses!
As Education and Research Policy Officer, you will work closely with student representatives, administration, and academic staff to ensure that the students' voice is heard in decision-making processes that concern academic development, study programmes, and research opportunities. Along with the rest of the Executive Committee, you're part of deciding how StInn should operate, both in terms of getting the best possible elected officials and how we should work for the most possible breakthrough for our student politics.
As Education and Research Policy Officer, you also lead the Education and Research Policy Committee, which consists of all those with the Education and Research Policy Officer role locally in the organization. This committee is responsible for receiving and investigating cases that involve education and research policy themes. You're also a member of the Education Committee and the Research and Development Committee.
