A student deemed a potential danger to those they encounter during practice or in their professional work is considered unsuitable and may be excluded from the program.
If it is believed that a student is unsuitable for their profession, the Suitability Committee at the university reviews the case and makes a recommendation to the university's Appeal Board, which then makes the final decision.
The Suitability Committee consists of two academic leaders at the university, two academic staff members, two student representatives, two representatives from the field of practice, and an external representative with a law degree. The committee meets only when a case is submitted.
