The validity of the semester fee

A paid semester fee is valid until and including September 15 for the spring semester and until and including February 15 for the autumn semester. This means that if you are taking a final exam before these dates, you do not have to pay the term fee for the coming semester.

Semester fee will be exempt for PhD students and incoming exchange students.

Refund application

An application for the refund of a paid fee must be sent to INN University within September 1 for the autumn semester and February 1 for the spring semester. The application can be sent by email to giro@inn.no

If you have paid too much, you will automatically be refunded the extra amount.

Is the semester fee paid at another Norwegian institution?

If you have paid a semester fee to another Norwegian institution for higher education, you can send us documentation of this. The best documentation is a print screen from your Studentweb or Student ID app, proving that you have paid and are an active student at that other institution. We will then withdraw the semester fee to the Student Association, but you still have to pay the Kopinor and ICT-fees for your studies at INN University. For more information, see Lov om Studentsamskipnader §10 Semesteravgift.
