Evenstad campus

Welcome to Evenstad! Located along the banks of the River Glomma in Stor-Elvdal Municipality, the village of Evenstad has access to large areas of uncultivated land where students can really enjoy themselves.

Health services and counselling 

The Inland Norway Student Welfare Organisation (SINN) has conversational therapists, psychologists, student chaplains and student coordinators who can provide students with help. These are low-threshold services and you don’t have to be ill to get in touch.

Student organisations and leisure activities 

When you pay the semester fee at Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, you become part of the Inland Norway Students’ Union (StInn). StInn works proactively for students’ rights, especially with regard to INN University, the Inland Norway Student Welfare Organisation (SINN), and the authorities.

Each campus offers different leisure activities that are available to all students. New students are encouraged to familiarise themselves with what is on offer in the local community; see information on message boards and talk to your assigned buddy when you start your studies.

Students have access to a training room at campus Evenstad.

Student accommodation 

Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences (HINN) have dorms in two new and modern buildings at campus Evenstad, which are rented out with the help of The Inland Norway Student Welfare Organisation (SINN). SINN does not require a deposit, has student-friendly prices and only a two months notice.

If you need a dormitory where dogs are allowed or a dormitory with a gun safe, it is possible to rent this at Evenstad. Wishes must be specified in the comment field when applying for a dormitory.

In addition, accommodation can be found on the private market, both in private bedsits and single rooms/flats.

Kindergarten 

There are several municipal kindergartens in Stor-Elvdal. Applications for kindergarten places must be submitted to the municipality.
