Solveig Roth, is associate professor, Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences, with a PhD from University of Oslo. Department of Education. Her PhD thesis is primarily focused on examining how young multiethnic girls reflect about (1) how learning across context develop the learning Identity, and (2) how complex gendered - religious and ethnic expectations across the Norwegian society and ethnic-minorty contexts shape tensions and influence their educational trajectories.

Solveig Roth has a MSc and PhD from the University of Oslo, Department of Education. Her Bachelor degree is in teacher education from Hedmark University College. In addition, she has work experience as a teacher and a clinical pedagog.
