INNStart for international exchange students at Lillehammer

Welcome to INN, Campus Lillehammer, as an exchange student.

The INNstart program for exchange students is tailored to focus on integration and social happenings. It is the perfect time for you to get to know your fellow exchange students.

The Orientation Day will provide relevant information regarding your exchange in Lillehammer, but in-person attendance is required as it will not be streamed nor recorded.

INNStart programme

INNStart is the official first three days for new students in the autumn semester. For exchange students, the INNStart programme at Campus Lillehammer is arranged by the International Office.

Sunday, the 16th of August

This event is not mandatory. The Orientation Day begins on Monday, the 17th of August.

However, if you are in Lillehammer and interested in exploring the campus, an open campus event will take place this Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00.

The International Office will not be present, but you can explore the cafeteria, bookshop, coffee bar Studenten, and more on campus.

Welcome to the Orientation Day!

08:00-08:30: Registration and sign-in
08:30-09:50: First part of the Orientation Day presentation & guest speakers, in AUD-G
10:00-11:00: Official semester opening
11:00-12:00: Lunch (bring your own)
12:00-14:15: Second part of the Orientation Day presentation & guest speakers, in AUD-G
14:15-15:00: Campus rebus
15:00-18:00: Free time
18:00-21:00: Social gathering in Studenten, on campus

Tuesday, the 18th of August

11:15: Meet up & be divided into groups for the Photo hunt at Lillehammer Skysstasjon

23:59: Deadline to submit photos (email)

Wednesday, the 19th of August

Meet up and get to know your Buddy group. Time and location TBA.

INN will provide free lunch.

Fadderuka (Buddy Week) begins. Please see the Fadderuka webpage for information on upcoming events.

Some practical information

All exchange students are required to bring lunch for Orientation Day. A free lunch will be provided on Wednesday.

The event on Tuesday will be held outdoors. Students will be divided into groups and must complete the activities with their assigned group. Detailed information will be provided during Orientation Day.

Exchange students will be integrated into groups during Fadderuka, alongside international and Norwegian full-degree students pursuing the MSc in Business Administration with a major in Business Analytics. The International Office will divide students into groups, and a WhatsApp community will be established for this purpose.
