The research group has a triple focus. It includes researchers who are interested in English-language literature, from both literary and didactic studies. It also welcomes researchers who take an interest in literacy: reading, writing, and historical literacy are among the topics we explore. English didactics is the third component: researchers in the group examine different topics related to English as a school subject.
Literature and literacy
The research group Literature and Literacy includes both theoretical and applied research related to English-language literature, literacies, and English didactics.

What we research
We contribute to research-based teaching practices in the school subject English, and we also research English-language literature. An ongoing project which combines the two is “Literature, teacher education and climate change”.
More about the research group
The research group consists of both experienced and novice researchers. The group serves as a forum for guidance and feedback, and encourages the development of research projects among and beyond the members of the group. All of the members are currently from the Department of English, but the group is open for researchers from other departments and faculties.
