Dear colleagues and friends,
The Music Education and Cultural Studies research group at University of Inland Norway invites you to a research symposium celebrating and honouring the work of Professor Petter Dyndahl.
Programme
The symposium is designed as a mini-conference and will highlight the diversity and depth of scholarship that Petter has helped shape over a long academic career. It features a series of short research presentations and contributions from Petter's close colleagues, collaborators and former PhD students. Contributions will span fields connected to Petter’s work, including education and pedagogy, music education and Didaktik, children’s and youth culture(s), popular music studies, musicology, sociology of education and cultural sociology, gender studies, media and music technology.
With this symposium, we take up the invitation implicit in all of Petter’s work to keep the field of music education productively unsettled, interrogating its concepts, assumptions and institutional boundaries.
