What we research

Furthermore, to investigate what effect the digital revolution has on market behaviour, how the industry's companies organize their operations, and how copyright laws affect the rights holders' income.

We will do this with a multidisciplinary approach that includes marketing, service research, business research and law.

More about the research group

The group will use a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research methods to understand how value and value creation arise in the copyright industry.

We involve students from the Bachelor's degrees Music Business Management and Music Business Production in the research work by preparing and collecting data for a larger survey together with the students. The students use this in their bachelor theses, and we use it in our research.

The aim of this group is that the research created will be able to contribute to understanding customer behavior in technologically driven markets, as well as develop sustainable business models and new legislation that can ensure a good framework for value creation for all players in the copyright industry.
