INCREDILAB is a border-regional research project led by Karlstad University (KAU) and INN PROTECT – Centre for Preparedness and Crisis Management, in collaboration with the municipalities of Åmot, Elverum, and Åsnes, as well as Innlandet County Municipality and the County Governor of Innlandet in Norway, and Region Värmland, Karlstad Municipality, and others in Sweden. Together, they work to improve cross-border preparedness cooperation.

The project aims to promote climate adaptation and preparedness for climate-related cross-border crises. Its activities are designed to enhance and improve cooperation between municipalities, businesses, and other organisations within the Värmland-Innlandet border region.

Through a needs analysis and by developing and testing both analogue and digital games, INCREDILAB spreads and develops knowledge and measures related to climate adaptation and preparedness, both for today and for the future.

The project is financed by Interreg Sweden-Norway, European Regional Development Fund.
