What is a Shut up and Write for PhDs?

Shut up and Write is a structured writing and social event designed to provide social support to Ph.D. students where you can focus on your individual work, while enjoying short social breaks and the opportunity to get research support from a librarian. The event is led by INN library – Lillehammer campus.

How it works:

Bring your own laptop, water, and everything you need for the writing session. We organise two structured writing sessions, with a 15-minute social break.

During the break, coffee and tea will be served, providing an opportunity for you to relax and connect with other fellow Ph.D. students and ask questions with the librarian. The last 10 minutes concludes the session.

Time & Program:

09:00-09:15:  Arrival, coffee and tea served, find a seat

09:15-10:00: 1st writing session

10:00-10:15: Social Break. Ph.D. students can ask questions to the librarian
