As per April 20th, the situation is still unresolved, and we do not know when a new provider of interlibrary book transport is in place.
The bankruptcy affects both library materials already in transport and all new orders. We deeply regret that for a period of time we will not be able to provide library materials that you need, and any subsequent consequences.
The present situation is this:
- There is a temporary pause in transportation of books between campus libraries at INN.
Ordering books from other campus libraries than your own is consequently not possible at the moment.
- Are you waiting for ordered or reserved books?
If you are on a waiting list for a book it may take longer than normally to receive this, depending on which campus library the book is returned to. At the moment there is no transportation service for books between campus libraries. There will also be a delay for books ordered from other libraries (interlibrary loans).
We do not send books via mail.
- Only books that are out on loan can be reserved.
- Books that are on the library shelves must be picked up by you.
If a book is available at your campus library you must pick it from the shelves yourself. Ordering the book will not be possible.
- Delivery to other libraries.
This is not possible in the present situation, so you must obtain needed literature in other ways, e.g purchase.
- Have you recently delivered books at another library for return to us?
These books will be held in storage for a while, before being passed on to us. Be aware that by returning books to other libaries, the book will still be registered as on loan to you, until it is back at the University library.
- How about ordering journal articles?
You may still order journal articles, but not via Oria. To place an order contact your campus library via e-mail.
- Recall notices will be sendt as per usual.
Contact your campus library if you are having difficulties in returning recalled loans.
