Your student card is your library card

When completed semester registration and registered as an active student you should obtain a student card.
The physical student card can be used as:

  • A Library card in INN University’s libraries
  • A key card to print/scan/copy documents at printers in INN University’s campuses
  • An entrance card to the campus of study

Studying in the Library

Many students like to sit and study in the library. You can find a large number of different study spaces in the library, like quiet reading rooms and areas suitable for group study and discussions. Its possible to make a reservation to group study rooms. Some study rooms are equipped with a screen so that your own laptop can be connected.

Reserve study rooms in TimeEdit.

Access after opening hours

Before and after staffed opening hours you may access the library premises using your student card and pin code. Card and code gives access to the library seven days a week from 07.00-22.00!

At INN University, all libraries have extended opening hours. This means that enrolled students have access to the library facilities before and after regular, staffed opening hours.

Find Course literature

Course literature are the books that are listed as compulsory literature in the literature lists of the university's various courses. All course literature is available for use in the library and for loan. To find out if the course book is available and where it is placed on the shelf, use the library search engine Oria. Put yourself on a waiting list if the book is on loan. You need your student card to borrow items, so don’t forget to bring it with you.

How do I find ebooks, journal articles and databases?

You can search for books and articles in Oria, then you will find both printed and electronic. If you are situated off campus, you need to log in using your FeideID and password to access the full text.
At campus, you should use the wireless connection called Eduroam.

Printing, copying and scanning

All libraries have printers, copiers and scanning machines.  As a student at INN University you can print from student computers in the library or from your own laptop. You must have a physical student card to retrieve prints, copy or scan documents.
