A data management plan contributes to ensuring that the data in your project is handled securely, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable laws and agreements.
The data management plan should detail the data handling throughout the entire project cycle, closely tied to your project's research design. Most research funders (including INN) require a draft data management plan as part of the project application - furthermore, the plan assists in making your data FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable).
