- Organised activities and social events.
- Assistance for students.
How to be assigned a Buddy
The process varies by campus. After you are granted admission, the International Office will inform you about the Buddy programme. However, some campuses may not have assigned buddies specifically to you.
You can read about the arrival system at your campus on the Travelling to Norway webpage.
Getting in touch with your Buddy
Please be aware that this may differ from campus to campus/faculty to faculty. The International Office on your campus will provide information about which option applies to you.
- Option A:
- Before your arrival, your assigned Buddy will contact you. Please answer their friend requests/emails/messages as soon as possible. The Buddy will be your contact person until you have arrived and can answer your non-academic questions.
- The International Office will inform you when the buddies will contact you. Please wait for this information from the International Office.
- Option B:
- You will be invited to chat groups in WhatsApp with the different Buddies. They can answer your non-academic questions. The International Office will inform you when these groups will be created.
