Lillehammer is also the home of a great architectural Cultural heritage site, Maihaugen. The outdoor museum is in walking distance from the city centre and is perfect for a restorative stroll. Here you will find typical architectural styles from Norway, all the way back to the 1600. You can use your phone and scan QR codes at the site for more information. At Maihaugen you can reflect on architectural psychology, and how the different buildings influence you. Historic significance is one of the elements of importance for aesthetic preference, according to Jack Nasar.
