Although we are now formally a university, for practical reasons we will continue to refer to ourselves as Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences until 28th November.

In Norwegian, we will be Høgskolen i Innlandet, and then change to Universitetet i Innlandet.

On that day, we will celebrate our new status with a university party for staff and invited partners. Our updated profile and new name will be presented here.

– The new status brings with it some practical changes that will take time to implement, but staff are very welcome to start saying they work at the university already now, says Rector Peer Jacob Svenkerud.

From 28th November onwards, we will roll out our updated logo with the new name across all channels – but larger signs and similar items will take a little longer to replace.

Our partners and the media will receive our new profile package shortly after 28th November.
