Digital projects
The Property Department currently has several development projects underway. Read more about them here.
Sensors for monitoring the use of teaching rooms

The IT and Property Departments are collaborating on a project involving the use of sensors in teaching rooms. The aim of the sensor project is to map actual usage.
By using sensors, we can gain an overview of, among other things, the number of hours a room is in use and the number of people present over a period, a day, and at specific times.
The sensors do not collect personal data, and the collected data will initially be used for statistical purposes.

- Read more about the sensor project and how sensors can be used beyond simply registering activity in a room

Collecting student/staff ID cards
.png)
IT and the Property Department at INN have collaborated on a software for printing student/staff ID cards via self-service machines.
Self-service machines have now been placed at Blæstad, Elverum, Evenstad, Hamar, Kongsvinger, Lillehammer, and Rena.
The goal has been to develop a service that simplifies the process for students and staff to collect their student and staff ID cards. Thanks to the self-service machines, the card production process has become more efficient, allowing students and employees to collect their cards during the entire opening hours of their respective campuses.
If you have any feedback regarding what works well or suggestions for improvements, please contact the project manager/contact person.

Electronic delivery lockers
Electronic delivery lockers are a self-service solution that allows recipients to collect packages, items, and more directly from the locker. In collaboration with the bookstore at the Lillehammer campus, we have tested a locker system. The locker has now been returned to the supplier.
