International Week

Are you interested in Norwegian education and would like to visit local schools and kindergartens to see how the teachers work? We invite teacher, pedagogy and early childhood students to the University of Inland Norway and Hamar for the International Week.

Hamar, Norway

Welcome to Hamar! Join us here to learn more about the Norwegian school system, indigenous culture, and how we work with digitalization and Virtual Reality in education.

Hamar is the largest city in Innlandet County and has 30,000 inhabitants. With its stable climate, varied nature and its rich cultural heritage, Hamar offers many great experiences all year round.

The city that lies on the sunny side of Lake Mjøsa offers a fantastic selection of concerts, festivals, restaurants, cafés and shopping opportunities. Approximately 3000 students also help to give the city its distinctive character.
