Staff training for intercultural and inclusive education

The development of an EMERGE degree programme and European Academic Pathways in existing study programmes requires broad empowerment as well as effective trainings to support academic teaching staff. These are quality-enhancing practices that build inclusive learning environments in higher education.

These trainings on inclusive education support EMERGE partner institutions in delivering local workshops aimed at upskilling their academic staff in the fields of Intercultural communication, microaggressions and trauma-informed practice in higher education.

The workshop formats were developed as part of Task 3.5.1 of the Grant Agreement, with the goal of providing a practical and detailed framework that can be applied to all partner institutions and adapted to local institutional, legal, linguistic, and cultural contexts.
