Collaboration in research
Our goal is for our research and artistic development work to be relevant to both business and society. Many research projects take place in close collaboration with stakeholders in the workforce, and we are always open to new partners for cooperation.
Research and development
INN is a major player in research in the Innlandet region, working across a wide range of disciplines. Much of our research is carried out on assignment from external clients or in collaboration with others.
We work on assignments from both businesses, health enterprises, and other public institutions. Our experience ensures both the quality of the work and the independence that good research relies on.
Research assignments are designed when the client has a need and chooses the theme and research question. Together, we create a plan and set goals for the research work. Assignments can vary in size and scope.
The possibility of carrying out commissioned research depends on whether we have experts with the relevant skills available when the project needs to be carried out.
We can also collaborate as a partner in applications for various research funding sources, and assist in the application process.
Many of our researchers also contribute to public investigations and committees.

Organising conferences
We are happy to assist you in organising conferences.
The University of Inland Norway has extensive experience and organises a number of national and international conferences each year.
Conferences can be held either at the university's own venues or at other suitable locations, depending on the client's preferences.
